Playa Brasilito

Playa Brasilito was one of the places known for a time as Costa Rica's "Gold Coast" and was one of the first beaches in Costa Rica to attract international tourism attention. The beach is two kilometers long, an ideal place to relax and enjoy oneself, and a destination of great scenic beauty.

There is no shortage of ways for tourists to have fun in Playa Brasilito, with many local shops available for hiring out motorbikes, diving equipment, or getting closer to nature with horseback riding. Playa Brasilito is blessed with being in almost constant sunshine throughout the year, with eleven or twelve hours of it per day during the dry season in particular, and a pleasant average temperature of about thirty six degrees Celsius (ninety nine degrees Fahrenheit).

Playa Brasilito is both a perfect choice for the budget conscious traveler and also one that is easily accessible by bus or taxi. Liberia International Airport is a perfect spot from which tourists can make their way to Playa Brasilito with little fuss, and they will find there not just a lovely stretch of coastline, but also a true glimpse of Tico life at its most unspoiled.
